PromptBoost Sessions Privacy Policy

PromptBoost Sessions is a browser extension that helps improve performance in long ChatGPT conversations by keeping the active chat lightweight and loading older history progressively in a read-only view.

Data we collect

PromptBoost Sessions sends limited licensing data to our license API:

• Anonymous install ID
• Extension version
• Browser name
• Locale/language
• Optional email address when the user starts checkout or manages a subscription

Data we do not collect

PromptBoost Sessions does not collect, store, sell, or transmit:

• ChatGPT prompts
• ChatGPT responses
• Source code from conversations
• Conversation history
• Cookies
• Session tokens
• Passwords
• Payment card numbers

Local processing

The extension may process ChatGPT page content locally in the browser to provide performance optimization, history trimming, and progressive read-only history loading. This content is not sent to our license API.

Payments

Payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. PromptBoost Sessions does not store full payment card details. Stripe may process payment-related information according to its own privacy and security practices.

How we use data

We use the limited licensing data only to:

• Create and validate the 7-day free trial
• Validate paid subscription status
• Provide billing support
• Prevent trial and license abuse
• Improve reliability of licensing features

Data sharing

We do not sell user data. We do not use user data for advertising, creditworthiness, lending, or unrelated profiling. Licensing data may be processed by our infrastructure providers and payment data may be processed by Stripe as necessary to provide the service.
